Nearly three years ago, we started Blueprint to help mental health clinicians automate the outcome measurement process. What started as a simple tool later snowballed into a full-fledged platform to help empower clinicians to deliver high-quality evidence-based care. But through and through, a Blueprint assessment has remained core to our business and our ability to add value to clinician and patient lives.
Blueprint assessments help clinicians objectively measure patient progress and identify if treatment is off-track. Administering assessments and using the results during an appointment is the bread and butter of measurement-based care, which has been shown to help patients achieve better results more rapidly. As the old adage goes, you can’t manage what you don’t measure. And in mental health care, assessments are the gold standard for measuring if treatment is working or not.
Today, I’m excited to announce that we have *officially* administered our 1,000,000th assessment on Blueprint! 🎉 🚀 🙌
This is a major milestone for our team. Our first year in business, we administered a whopping total of 5,000 assessments.And we were PUMPED. Just two years later, we're administering well over one assessment per minute and on pace to administer 1,000,000 assessments this year alone.
More importantly, we’ve expanded our focus from simply helping clinicians measure if care is working to helping them figure out how to take action from assessment results and deliver high-quality evidence based mental health care.
In addition to announcing this milestone, we're unveiling a brand new website that better tells our story as a company and articulates our vision for the future of mental health care. We believe in a world where patients not only have access to care, but access to care that works. And we’re committed to arming each and every mental health clinician with the right tools and the right data to help them do their best work and deliver high-quality evidence-based care.
